Traditional Ainu dance
Ainu people have fostered good relations with the gods through rituals and ceremonies during which they sing songs (upopo) and perform dances (rimse) for the gods. The uwekap, iratupopo and ukouk dances were developed by the Kamikawa Ainu, and the cikapupopo dance is associated with the Daisetsuzan Mountain Range.
